World Sound Healing Day

Yes, you heard right, there is an official World Sound Healing Day and this already for over 20 years!

Jonathan Goldmann, a pioneer in the field of sound healing has initiated this day, because in his opinion it is extremely important to create certain sounds at the same time, because this has an immense and also measurable effect on our world!

The World Sound Healing Day is every year on the 14th of February!

Many sound therapists around the world host special events and meditations to support this day, in addition to Jonathan Goldmann.

But what exactly does one do on this day?

Mostly, one intones the heart sound "AH" for a few minutes with the intention of radiating love. The vowel sound "AH" is also known as the "heart sound" because it is clearly felt in the chest and thus is meant to stimulate the chest and heart on a physical and also energetic level. Often an intention is also placed in this sound. This is a universal intention and is thus entirely in the spirit of healing the earth and peace.

It is about sending out a "sonorous Valentine" to the creator Mother Earth and thus transmitting our affection and gratitude to her.

However, according to Jonathan Goldman, other vowels or healing sounds can also be used. These include simple hums, "hum," "om," etc., or any sound such as a crystal bowl, Tibetan bell, didgeridoo, or instrument such as piano, violin, drum, flute, guitar, and sitar. Basically, you can do any kind of musical performance or sound presentation that you like.

This event is not just for sound healers, meditators and peace activists. Anyone who wants to make the world a better place is invited! The time to join others in creating these healing sounds is at noon in any time zone.

The main goal is peace and harmony!
